Quadra is located on a cul-de-sac, adjacent to Queen Mary Elementary school.
It is in the heart of a popular west side green belt, well away from traffic.
Quadra is less than a 5 minute drive from many west side communities including: UBC, Kitsilano,
Point Grey, Dunbar, Spanish Banks, Arbutus, and Mackenzie Heights.
For children who enroll in Queen Mary Elementary, Quadra offers a walkover program to and from
the kindergarten room. Younger children can sometimes see their older friends in the Queen Mary playground,
which shares a common fence along one side of our play area. This can ease the transition from daycare to
grade school as they become familiar with the routines of the older children through observation and discussion.
